ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Position type: Part-Time / 20 hours per week
Reports to: Executive Pastor, Volunteer Pastor, Executive Admin
Work schedule: Monday - Thursday, 9A-2P, year-round
Location: Somonauk Offices

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Assist Volunteer/Pastoral Care pastor, and Executive Admin
Assist with volunteer scheduling, administration, care, and communication
Help with planning and execution of volunteer trainings
Review hospitality inventory and ordering
Manage workflows
Process receipts and reimbursements
Track and produce monthly numbers and reports
Helping with staff care through birthday cards
Ordering office supplies
Formatting and sending emails
Technology/External software: Basecamp, ToDoist, Google Calendar, Gmail, Planning Center.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS NEEDED:
Friendly

Strong typing and proofing skills
Strong computer skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced office environment
A fast learner
Professional
Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible to change
Success in this job will require a firm grasp of Harvest Chapel's beliefs, values, and strategy.
Familiarity with Mac computers and Apple software (e.g., macOS, Pages, Numbers, Keynote) is a plus.
